This virtual session explores how Global Social Witnessing and trauma-informed peacebuilding can support reconciliation in Kashmir and South Asia. Bringing together Kashmiri academic knowledge, collective-trauma expertise, diaspora engagement, and international peacebuilding experience, participants will examine truth-telling, psychosocial healing, restorative justice, and shared presence. The discussion includes lessons from the Philippine Truth and Reconciliation Commission and considers how these approaches could inform healing, dialogue, and hope in Kashmir.
