Analyzing Post-Revolution Transitional Justice Policy in Myanmar: Threats and Opportunities
The Spring Revolution in Myanmar since 2021 has triggered profound political changes, widespread instability, armed conflict, thousands of deaths, and the displacement of millions. In response, victims have called for transitional justice. Recently, the National Unity Consultative Council developed a Transitional Justice policy to address these demands. This presentation critically analyzes the policy's contents, design, and the challenges it faces in implementation, particularly the external obstacles that must be overcome.

Peacebuilding Through Education: Tracing Singapore’s Political Rhetoric and Policies
Singapore is a prime example of development in Southeast Asia, and its human capital development strategies have garnered significant attention. However, there has been less focus on the systemic reconciliatory processes that have reshaped and transformed relationships within and beyond the nation-state. This presentation traces Singapore’s political rhetoric and educational policies over the past 59 years to critically examine the consistencies and changes that shape national discourse for reconciliation and peace.
