As societies become increasingly polarized and trust in institutions continues to decline, the question is no longer whether diversity exists—but whether diverse societies can continue to live, govern, and solve problems together.

This interactive session explores pluralism not simply as an ideal, but as an essential peacebuilding strategy for a fragmented world. Drawing on examples from government, civil society, education, and international peace processes, panelists will examine how pluralism can strengthen democratic resilience, rebuild public trust, and foster cooperation across political, cultural, religious, and ideological divides.

Participants will explore how institutions and communities can move beyond polarization toward meaningful engagement, and why sustaining pluralism requires more than tolerance—it requires courage, curiosity, and active participation.
