The Sound of Peace: Creativity, Culture, and the Human Spirit in a Fragmented World

An Interactive Experience with Diego Carneiro

As Peace Week comes to a close, internationally acclaimed conductor, cellist, and Rotary Peace Fellow Diego Carneiro invites participants into a unique and immersive experience that explores the transformative power of music, storytelling, creativity, and human connection in building peace.

Blending personal stories, live cello performance, audience participation, and meaningful dialogue, this interactive session examines how the arts can transcend cultural, political, and social divides, creating spaces for empathy, healing, and shared understanding. Rather than a traditional presentation, participants will become part of a reflective journey that celebrates our common humanity and the role each of us plays in fostering peace.

Join us for an inspiring conclusion to Peace Week that is designed not only to be thought-provoking, but deeply memorable—leaving participants with renewed hope, meaningful connections, and a lasting reminder that peace is experienced as much through the human spirit as it is through words.
